About the material
Crushed sand, also called manufactured sand, M-sand, VSI sand or khadi crush sand, is produced by crushing hard rock in a VSI (vertical shaft impactor) and screening it to a fine, consistent grading (typically up to 4.75 mm). Because it comes from a controlled crushing process, its particle shape and size are more uniform than river sand, which helps concrete and mortar perform predictably.
